Error correction
Higher levels (Q/H) survive scratches, logos and bad printing — at the cost of a denser code.
Keep contrast high
Dark foreground on a light background scans best. Avoid light-on-dark or low-contrast pairs.
Keep the margin
The 4-module quiet zone around the code is part of the spec — scanners need it.
Shorter is denser-proof
Short URLs produce smaller, easier-to-scan codes than long ones.
PNG or SVG
